I'm sure the OP would be only too happy to craft you one...all you need are:
175 chunks of Potassium
120 chunks of Rubidium
7 Steel Ingots
8 Saphires
and £2,000,000 sterling.
That aught to do the job.
Hmmm....I'm not sure. If one of those bad boys were ever to be "created" i don't ever see a Group 1 metal as the way forward to be honest. Maybe if the forks were supplied witha constant stream of gas or oil and, on the handle, there was a spark button (like on a gas hob) to start the fire...I could maybe see that working.
Hmm, after having done A-Level chemistry I'm not convinced of anything the OP said, particularly since 90% of the text were spelling errors!

I'm with you on the gas stream beaver, Either that or a volatile coating to the forks.
After talking about all this, do you actually think any prototype FDS in RL would have a practical purpose as a weapon?

What's confusing me about FDS is that it can cause bleeding. I mean, wouldn't the fire scorch the cuts forks make?

the real question should be: will they sell it as a package with Mending, or sell each item seperately? (and what about the batteries!)

LMAO! Yes! Should make a FDS-Mending Bundle Deal!
Maybe we should form a group to brainstorm this idea in a little more depth!

All you need a is a regular sword and then hook up a flame thrower through the pommel so it shoots out along the blade.

They had flaming swords in the past. Along the middle (broad) part of the blade you had a groove cut out along the length and stuffed it with some sort of cloth soaked in flammable tree resin or w/e and lit it before going into battle.
I saw this on TV.
tommarrow's idea sounds better though :P
Nice effort with the chemistry anways.

ok, i understand that the firey dragon sword could possibly be made in real life by making it out of one of the nice substanses u mentioned but how would a sodium sword stay together. not only is it being swung around but its clashing with steel and iron. and an icy dragon sword made of dry ice would just decinegrate after a while.

Thats why it would need a Carbon Steel Core.
I'v only seen Lithium Sodium Potassium dropped in water, I Found this video On Youtube which shows a bit.... more. Keep in mind that the amount they use is minuscule. Like, 2g. Not Even.

cesium and water=bad idea. but i dont get what keeps it burning...what element or how does it keep burning? and how would it control the fire to stay in that small area?

Its Because you Can't just have Pure Rb or K, it needs to bond With other atoms, Say Oxygen or Hydrogen.
Most metals Rust, because of oxygen (Oxygen is actually a very deadly and corrosive gas, we had to adapt to it, For one it Disolves Metal)
By placing it in water, H²O, The Oxygen and Hydrogen that is stored inside the Molecule (2g of it = A LOT of Molecules / oles if you want to be mroe presices)
So Its my understanding that because of the rapid Corotion caused by the Oxygen in the water, the Hydrogen Suddently Seperates and goes under massive Decomprtion.
Think of those Hollywood Movies where a hole is blasted on the side of a plane.
Now I'm also deducing that because this happens slower in Sodium / Lithium / Potasium the energy / heat that is created and release causes the Metal to burn, something which does nto happen with the Rubidium or Cesium / Francium Due to its quickness.
